 The Design Inspiration

Some designs are born from years of quiet patience. Dianthus draws its inspiration from two precious textile fragments that Catherine Martin had long treasured an 18th-century crewel embroidery rich with floral and foliage motifs, and a piece of Chinese embroidery whose striking palette of burgundy, dark blue, cream, and soft blue accents define the rug's soul. Reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, Dianthus honours these historical references while feeling entirely at home in a refined, modern interior.

Why this charity

Catherine chose to support the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation because the cause is deeply personal to her, following the loss of my aunt to the disease. Women’s health, and particularly reproductive health, remains underfunded and underserved, making continued investment in research and awareness more important than ever. I believe strongly in the power of funding vital research, and with the progress being made today, we move closer to life-saving treatments and, one day, the hope of eradicating this disease altogether.
