Born in 1999, when a young Daniel Walbidi walked into Short St. Gallery with four small paintings and a quiet ambition to become an artist. From this moment, the Bidyadanga art movement flourished. Using acrylics, the Yulparija artists wove desert heritage into rich coastal blues, greens and reds. Designer Rugs is honoured to interpret the work of five of these artists in this vibrant handknot collection.
